Refund Policy

Our Returns Policy includes the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refunds for a major failure and for compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

We cannot offer any returns, refunds or exchanges on heavily discounted wines and mystery wines; however these will be specified on the wine web page.

With any returns, the original delivery fee is non-refundable.

 Breakages

If we are notified by our courier service that your wines have been damaged, we will contact you and offer you a return or replacement. In the event the wines are no longer available, we will do our best to offer you a similar replacement for the price paid.  Please note this will affect the delivery time of your order.

The risk of damage, loss, or deterioration to the product passes to the buyer upon delivery and therefore no refunds are offered for products that are damaged after you have accepted the delivery.

Changed mind or need to make an adjustment to an order.

Once an order has been placed, our systems are automated, and it may not be possible to make a change. If you contact us within 24 hours of ordering, we will attempt to make a change to your order, however a $20 fee will apply to all changes once the order has been placed. We therefore recommend you check the checkout and delivery details prior to placing/submitting the order.

We aim to have all refunds processed within 14 days of notification or from the date that the remaining wines are returned to us.

Quality / Taste discrepancy

In the rare instance that you are not satisfied with a wine purchased from Levrier Wines, we will be more than happy to provide you a refund in the form of an instore credit for the value of the wine purchased.  If you have ordered a straight case (e.g., 6 or 12 of the same wine), and after trying 1 bottle, you are not happy with the quality please notify us to work through the below noted return policy. Please note that if more than one bottle of wine has been opened by you, we will credit the cost of one bottle in addition to the unopened ones that have been returned.  In the case of a mixed pack, we provide the credit on a bottle-by-bottle basis and suggest that you continue to try the other wines as well rather than sending them back without tasting.

The freight cost to return the products to Levrier Wines is the responsibility of the customer.

All returns must occur within 60 days of purchase invoice. All wines sold are stored at your own risk, and we advise you try a bottle within 60 days to check the quality before cellaring the remaining wines, as no refunds can be processed after this time.

Once the wines have been returned to our warehouse, we will credit the value of the wines with an in-store credit which can be used on a future order.

 Exceptions

If Levrier Wines reasonably believes that a buyer is abusing our Refund Policy, Levrier Wines reserves the right to suspend or cancel the return in relation to that buyer, cancel any pending orders and/or close that buyer’s account.
